9 night, self-drive package. Kruger National Park (inc walking safari), Swaziland and Kwa-Zulu Natal
Day 1 - Kruger National Park
This unique safari starts off with a night at Rhino Post Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park. This is a private concession of over 25 000 acres in the heart of the Kruger National Park, about a 45 minute drive from Skukuza. Enjoy game drives on the concession and on some of the Kruger Park roads.
Day 2 and 3 - Kruger National Park
Nights 2 and 3 are spent at Rhino Walking Safari's Plains Camp. This intimate, colonial style tented camp only sleeps 8 guests. From here, experience the 'Big 5' on foot as well as by game vehicle.
Day 4 - Swaziland
Take a leisurely drive through the Kruger Park into Swaziland (remember your passports!) and on to Reiley’s Rock Hilltop Lodge. This will be about a 4 hour drive from Rhino Post to Reiley’s Rock.
Day 5 and 6 - Kwa-Zulu Natal, Kosi Forest
Kosi Forest Lodge is tucked into the tranquil sand forest alongside the Kosi lake system, an unspoilt wilderness that is part of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. This 16-bed lodge offers comfortable accommodation, unique open air bathrooms and a host of estuarine, beach and wilderness activities. Spend 2 nights at the lodge and explore this water wonderland with its unspoilt lakes and forests. Guest who are not in a 4x4 vehicle will be met at the Total Garage in the nearby town of Manguzi. A lodge vehicle will then transfer you, about 30 minute drive to the Lodge.
Kwa-Zulu Natal, Thonga Beach
Leaving Kosi Forest Lodge it is about a 2 hour drive to Thonga Beach Lodge( or if in a non 4x4 vehicle about 1 hour to the pick up point). This intimate, luxury lodge is nestled on the pristine Mabibi beach of Northern KwaZulu-Natal, within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Its crystal clear, warm waters offer superb snorkelling and unspoilt off-shore scuba diving, arguably the best in South Africa. Air conditioned suites, mouth-watering cuisine, romantic candlelight dinners on the beach and relaxing Sea Spa treatments. Guided forest walks, kayaking, sundowners and seasonal turtle tracking.
